The PhysiotherapistGerry Keenan

Gerry qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Ulster (Jordanstown) in 1996.  After working for several years in the health service and in private practice, he opened his first clinic in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, in 2002.  Gerry has operated a successful clinic in Dunshaughlin since then and brings his expertise to the new Donnybrook clinic.

A former Gaelic footballer with the Tyrone under 21 team, Gerry empathises with the drive and dedication of all sports enthusiasts he treats both amateur and professional. Amongst his clientèle he can boast some of the countries leading jockeys, golfers, GAA players and other sports professionals.

As Gerry explains: “I have thoroughly enjoyed building up my practice from looking after those in the local community, who are suffering from a whole host of physical problems, to working with some of our leading sportsmen and women”.

In addition to physiotherapy, Gerry is a leading practitioner of Stott Pilates, which he recommends for rehabilitation and general fitness training. Pilates classes are preceded by a one-to one assessment to ascertain the client’s level of fitness and any underlying injuries. The client is then allocated to a class that best suits their needs.
